Do you have a fave local shopping area? We’re lucky here in Atlanta, because we have so many different shopping areas ~ from tried and true in-town spots, to new mixed-use lifestyle parks. And I enjoy visiting them all at different times of the year. For a bit of bluwaterstyle holiday browsing, I stopped by Avalon in Alpharetta recently ~~~
It’s a mixed-use open-air lifestyle park. Lots of favorite stores are here ~ and lots of good restaurants too! Some local spots, some well-known chains, and lots of pretty scenery.
It’s fun to stroll around and window shop on the main street, or stop in for coffee and dessert at the new Cafe Intermezzo ~ a local favorite.
One of the larger stores that is new to me is Arhaus at Avalon. There’s another location at Phipps Plaza too, and they have a website at arhaus.com ~~~
It’s a beautiful store, off the main shopping street and facing out onto the parkway, just past the entrance. The Arhaus team let me take some photos that I’m sharing here ~~~
You really have to take your time and browse to get a feel for all the different pieces. It’s eclectic, collected, vintage and contemporary ~ and I could have been happy with so many things I spotted.
The store is seriously gorgeous. Having worked to set up a LOT of major home store floors in my past career, I had a real appreciation for the work to style these vignettes and rooms. I loved this sailing tryptic spotted as soon as I walked in the door! Definitely bluwaterstyle.
I also spotted lots of high style lighting, at many different price points. There are high-end designer things {of course} and also options across various ranges ~ some very affordable styles.
And if you are still finishing your holiday shopping, check out the accessory options. These are just a few of the items I liked ~ artichoke and pine cone ceramics, river rock bowls and glass cloches in different sizes ~ all affordable, stylish gifts. Treat someone on your list or even yourself!
I haven’t included links to specific items, as things sell out during the holidays, but these items were recently available online at arhaus.com ~ or if you are local, check out one of the stores. 🙂
I’ve finished my holiday shopping, and there is still a week to go! I know ~ major miracle! Guess this means I have a chance to gift myself, unless Bluwaterguy is still shopping {hint, hint}. I think that sailing tryptic may be calling my name ~~~
