Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday ~ family, friends, food and football! We’re spending the holiday with Bluwatermom, but I like to do a Thanksgiving table setting at Bluwatervilla to enjoy the entire week. It makes morning coffee and cereal, or evening soup and sandwich feel special all week!
This year I found some beautiful fall color, and brought it home! Check out the fall color party here ~ and I was happy to carry it through to my Thanksgiving table setting too!
This year I used my Wedgewood White dinner plates and my Clipper Blue Sailing plates for color. Hey, the Mayflower was a clipper ship and it brought the pilgrims over. Can’t get more Thanksgiving than that, can you! Clear glass bowls for the previously mentioned cereal or soup, napkins that tie to the flower colors, and galvanized chargers ~ done!
This is a smaller version of the bottle collection from the entry wall ~ when I like something, I like it a lot! Both the large and smaller versions came from Decor Steals. They’re sure to pop up again, so if you like them, watch for them!
Easiest centerpiece ever y’all, and don’t those colors say fall?
I like to use two runners, either vertically or horizontally across the table, when I use chargers. The runners can layer over a table cloth as I did here, or you can skip the cloth and use on the bare tabletop for a different look.
This table is set for four, but it’s my grandmother’s gate leg table and can adjust to seat eight ~ but then I would definitely need a bigger dining area!
So that’s this year’s Thanksgiving table setting. You can see last year’s table here, and one of my all-time favorite blue and white tables here. Getting ready for the big day ~ almost time to start cooking!
