We were out and about visiting Scott Antique Market a couple of weeks ago on a Saturday. Unless I’m on a mission for something specific, I’m more of a browser and like to wander about. Bluwaterguy is great at spotting good stuff. He knows my likes and at 6’6″, he has a height advantage. He can see over crowds, look down aisles, and take in a lot of territory ~ will I’m still looking over the entrance tables! We were on the first aisle and Bluwaterguy spotted a booth display with pearl and leather jewelry ~ perfect bluwaterstyle!
I have a few pearl and leather pieces picked up at different times over the years, and always enjoy wearing them. They’re great on a bluwatergetaway too ~ from beach to dinner reservation. These came from MonaLisa Designs ~ sisters Pam and Lisa are local here in Atlanta ~ even better!
I loved their pearl and leather combinations, with coins and natural stone accents. Perfect additions to my signature style collection. And a great warm up for our Tybee Island Wine Festival weekend that was coming up ~ more on that in my next post. 🙂
Towards the end of our visit, he did it again ~ bluwaterstyle spotted! Wonderfully crafted jewelry made from vintage silver pieces from Silver Chest Creations. I could NOT resist the “enjoy the journey” bracelet, and this “dream big” long necklace. Early from me-to me birthday gifties!
We so enjoyed talking to the women at both these booths. Bluwaterguy always attracts attention at these stops. He never meets a stranger, and we love talking to people who are creating things and working hard to make a business.
I’ve already enjoyed wearing my new things, and added them to my collection display on my DIY jewelry organizer. I may not remember where I put my coffee cup in the morning, but I can remember where and when I collected each piece of jewelry. Go figure!
It’s my favorite time of year for weather, festivals, shopping and sightseeing. I’m coming back to the surface after just staying afloat for the past few months. Just back from Tybee and looking forward to birthday, and a Bluwatermom visit for Mother’s Day. I’ve got some new projects and adventures to add to the blog ~ and I just may be wearing some new jewelry while doing all of the above! Life enjoyed y’all ~~~
