Here’s a super easy ~ and super smooooooth ~ summer sangria. I call it Summer Sunset Sangria for the color! 🙂
We enjoyed this pitcher last weekend at Bluwatermom’s ~ and will be making more all summer long. Mix up a pitcher for your weekend and enjoy the sunset!
Summer Sunset Sangria ~~~
1 15oz bottle Pinot Grigio
1 cup silver tequila
3 cups ruby red grapefruit juice
1 15oz bottle of club soda
1/4 to 1/3 cup simple syrup (to taste)
juice of 1 lime
Chill ingredients before mixing. Combine chilled ingredients in a large pitcher and stir to mix. Refrigerate at least 2 hours to allow flavors to meld. The flavors in this sangria smooth out with time, so mixing ahead of serving is critical. The tequila flavor is sharp initially, but mellows nicely with a few hours in the fridge. Cheers y’all ~~~

Thanks Vicki ~ we really liked this sangria. It definitely has to mellow for a bit after mixing up, and then it’s a great summer afternoon beverage! Hope you give it a try 🙂 Bwg ~~~
