It’s our Thursday Night Social time ~~~
Happy “Friday Eve” ~ and I hope you’re having a happy week! This is my favorite cocktail hour, and here are some things I wanted to share for planning a spring social, or maybe just some lazy hammock reading. 🙂
As usual, let’s start with a cocktail, shall we? Or maybe a whole library of cocktails! I can’t resist a beautiful book, and have collected quite a few in the cocktail genre. Pinterest is great for collecting inspiration, and I enjoy my Pinterest boards, but I also love my books. Here are some from my personal library. I think you would enjoy any or all of them ~~~
I love porches almost as much as hammocks, so this book is a favorite with beautiful porch photos, cocktails, punches and yummy nibbles ~
Anytime I’m doing drinks for a crowd ~ whether cocktails or mocktails ~ this is my go to book. I used it for the Prosecco punch we served at Bluwatermom’s birthday party and everyone LOVED it~~~
And here’s another one I like for making pitcher drinks. Just be careful ~ these drinks are VERY good and it’s easy to over-indulge. Don’t ask me how I know this ~~~
This is my favorite for margaritas and mojitos ~~~
When we’re mixing up a tiki style cocktail hour, I have two favorite go-to books. Here’s the first one ~~~
And here’s the second favorite for tiki style drinks and eats ~~~
And my all around party favorite is this one ~ cocktails, spritzers, sangrias, great nibbles and beautiful photography ~~~
These are just a few of my personal favorites. I recently edited down my collection of eat and drink books, but all of these made the cut. They are really useful and beautiful ~ and have really good recipes for all sorts of social times. Plus they make for a great bluwatergifty for like-minded bluwaterpals!
The links to the individual books are Amazon Affiliate links, which means if you buy through any of the links I get a tiny commission, and that helps support the blog. It doesn’t effect the price of the books at all. I bought all my books from my own pocket over the years, and have enjoyed them all.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this quick tour through my bookshelf during this week’s Thursday Night Social. See you again next week!
