Time for some happy spring color! Time for a fresh bluwaterstyle tablescape with my favorite Fiestaware. 🙂
I’m so happy for more daylight that I actually look forward to the spring time change. I will happily spring forward for a longer afternoon and evening. Add in some of my favorite colors and I’ve got a happy tablescape.
I’ve collected Fiestaware for over 20 years, and it’s my everyday tableware. For a bunch of years I bought a special serving piece every year with Christmas money from my grandmother. Her special Christmas cash to all the grands bought this granddaughter bowls, platters, coffee pots, tea pots, compotes, gravy boats and more.
I’ve stayed with my original 8 colors, and enjoy them as much today as when I first got them. This table uses the 4 blue shades. The other 4 colors are warmer tones. The 8 colors will work for all different seasons depending on how they are put together and accessorized on the table.
In 2000 for the millennium Fiestaware did special pearl gray pieces and my family gifted me a set of chargers and rimmed soup bowls to add to my collection. Do they know me well or what? The gray pieces are the perfect neutral addition with all my colors. The chargers are massive and I love the raised pattern on the rims.
Do the 4 colors in these place settings look familiar? These are definitely part of the bluwaterlife color palette. Can you tell that I have loved these colors for more than 20 years?
The table is set with bluwaterstyle color and ready for the early spring weekend. It’s a fresh and colorful tablescape with collected pieces and family gifts. Even sandwiches feel special at this table.
I love color and I love neutrals, so I always use them together, and I don’t stray far from my favorites. Do you have a favorite color family or palette? Has it changed over time or are you consistent with your faves? The easiest way to freshen things up for a season is with color, whether it’s in your wardrobe or in your home.
Pull out some of your favorites and add some happy color to your spring weekend ~ and enjoy the extra sunlight even if the temps are chilly where you are. Spring is definitely around the corner y’all and I am soooooo ready. Bring on the sunshine!!
