It’s our Thursday Night Social time ~~~
Happy “Friday Eve” ~ hope you’re having a GREAT week! This is my favorite cocktail hour, and here are some things I’ve seen this week that looked especially good for a tiki style weekend!
As usual, let’s start with a cocktail, shall we? For tiki style, how about my Tru Blu Mai Tai ~~~
I love tiki style barware, and I’m still annoyed that I missed out on these glasses last summer from CB2! Love the stacking tiki cocktail glasses. Hoping they come back this summer, or I’ll be haunting eBay ~~~
I recently got these from Etsy ~ set of six vintage Siestaware from the 1960’s ~ LOVE the colors! Sort of Don Draper goes to Hawaii. Speaking of old school tiki style, here’s my visit to Trader Vic’s, and my brief tiki style history lesson ~~~
The Passion Fruit Zombie will be PERFECT in the vintage tiki glasses ~~~
Or this Freaky Tiki cocktail from dailyscocktails.com ~~~
My Grilled Pineapple Mojitos would also be good ~~~
And for full on decor, check out this vintage style tiki party from theglamouroushousewife.com ~~~
Or the mobile version from my Jimmy Buffett concert Tiki Bar Tailgates over the years ~~~
Looking forward to toasting the weekend with my new/old Siestaware tiki glasses. And wondering ~ do you think I can somehow combine Valentine’s Day with a bit of tiki style? I think I’m going to give it a try! Hope to see you next week for our Thursday Night Social ~~~

Oh my goodness…my grandparents had the vintage Tiki glasses. I laugh now because, they were always displayed in their small home. We – the grands – weren’t allowed to touch them…and my grandparents didn’t even drink 🙂 Really wish I had those glasses now. Thanks so much for sharing and awakening a wonderful memory.

You’ll have to come over and have a drink from mine, and we will toast your grandparents ~ who clearly had good taste in tiki barware 🙂 Bwg ~~~

Bobbi, wow those drinks look pretty ahh mazing and I love all the Tiki Inspiration. Do you ever see those type of glasses out in thrift stores near you? I don’t but We watch Thrift Hunters and one of the guys is always finding them and sells them on Ebay. Anyway have a great Thursday Night Social, Lisa

Hi Lisa ~ I’ve looked for good vintage tiki barware around here but rarely see any, other than the occasional ceramic mug, and never the pretty ones! So I broke down and ordered the set from Etsy. The shipping was as much as the glasses, LOL. That Passion Fruit Zombie is calling my name! Cheers 🙂 Bwg ~~~

Bobbi, you’re always out having a good time! I love it. I didn’t even know those stackable tiki glasses existed so sadly too I’ve missed out on them. Looks like you’ve found another great option though and already found yummy recipes in which to fill them up. Cheers to a happy weekend my friend! CoCo

Hi CoCo ~ I do love a good time ~ that’s why the tagline for the blog is “this is life enjoyed” 🙂 I’m going to troll ebay until I find those stackable tiki glasses! Happy weekend my friend!! Bwg ~~~
