It’s our weekly Thursday Night Social time
~~~
Happy “Friday Eve” ~ hope you’re having a GREAT week! This is my favorite cocktail hour, and here are some things I’ve seen this week that looked especially good for the weekend!
As usual, let’s start with a cocktail, shall we?
This is one of my favorite fall cocktails ~ my own Bittersweet Snapper cocktail, served martini style. These are super smoooooth and very potent, so sip accordingly. One or two of these with a small dish of pistachios and you have a VERY civilized cocktail hour 🙂 .
This Caramel Apple Cream Cheese Spread looks like a great idea for an easy Friday night nosh to share with neighbors during the Halloween madness. Or this could be on my next tailgate menu. Check it out on shewearsmanyhats.com
If savory is more your thing, these Spinach Artichoke Stuffed Mushrooms look delicious. Everyone should have a good stuffed mushroom in their repertoire 🙂 Check these out from snixykitchen.com
Actually making the cocktail is an important part of cocktail hour for me ~ and I love my bar set up. And I LOVE this IKEA hack, turning a basic 3-drawer chest into a VERY COOL Bar Cabinet ~ found on addicted2diy.com Now I totally want to paint my tiny bar cabinet turquoise!!
This Martha Stewart Barware would be a nice complement to the cabinet. I especially like the ice bucket & cocktail shaker for their double wall construction ~ less condensation and more cold ~ always a good thing! I’ve bought a few of these pieces for Bluwaterguy. The collection is available on macys.com
Every seat needs a good spot to place your drink. The Martini Side Table is a good size and has great style ~ plus it’s ON SALE right now at westelm.com 🙂
This week’s recipes are all new to me {except my own Bittersweet Snapper cocktail of course!} and I don’t have an affiliation with any of the featured sites. It’s just stuff I’ve seen that I like, and think you may like too 🙂 Hey, if I’m surfing, I may as well be sharing ~ just being social!
Now I want to freshen up my bar cabinet for the holidays, try a couple of new recipes and then relax in my favorite chair while enjoying cocktail hour. It’s our Thursday Night Social time and I love sharing things with you ~ and hope to see you next week! Cheers y’all ~~~
At least a small benefit of living far apart Coco is that we won’t show up at a party with the same dish ~ cause I’m taking it too! Hug! Bwg ~~~
