Fall Decor

fall blog tour ~ {indoor} outdoor fall decor

Welcome to our fall blog tour week 4 ~ outdoor fall decor ~ or in my case {indoor} outdoor fall decor!

Fall Decor

may all who enter as guests, leave as friends ~~~

It’s the last week of our fall blog tour. This week’s theme of “Outdoor Fall Decor” is a challenge for me, because 1) I have a MAJOR case of porch envy and 2) I live on the top floor of my condo community, so my outdoors is well, indoors!

Welcome if you’ve come over from The Crowned Goat 🙂 . Coco’s gorgeous porch is big enough for 3 beautiful decor set ups. Did I mention I have porch envy? All of the porches this week have been beautiful!

We always had a big porch with rocking chairs and a huge patio and pool at my parents home. Today, my mom has a beautiful screened back porch and patio. And I have, well, a hallway. Don’t get me wrong ~ I love where I live. And though I don’t have a porch or a patio, I can enjoy fall in other ways ~ like at the pool 🙂 . So far only the Japanese maple is turning fall colors, but it’s beautiful. I can count this as outdoor decor, right?

Fall Decor

it’s fall in my community, and the Japanese maple is beautiful ~~~

Fall Decor

it’s been a beautiful 80 degrees here all week!

I do have a bit of fall color around my hallway entrance. When I walk back to my place from the pool, here’s my doorway. The container on the door and my welcome sign have been there for years. I have different bouquets for the door, and seasonal emblems for the welcome sign to change out for the seasons and special holidays. I added some silk mums and small gourds for color in with my big green silk plants. And of course my Clemson garden flag is always part of my decor, in all seasons!

Fall Decor

my hall entry with some seasonal color ~~~

And my indoors has some outdoors. Remember my fireplace from last week?  On the dining side, there are french doors that open to outdoors ~ and a view from 4 floors high. Here’s part of the ground level view. The trees haven’t started turning color yet, but it is a nice view year round.

Fall Decor

does my brook view count as outdoor decor?

It’s nice to open the doors, and enjoy the view ~ especially for cocktail hour 🙂 . The space is hard to photograph ~ there just isn’t a good photo angle, but you can get the general idea. Some candles, a cocktail, a nice view ~ and a fall wreath. I made 3 wreaths, 1 over the fireplace on the living room side, and 2 for the french doors. I used peg style Command Hooks on the doors, and I can move the wreaths to the outside when the doors are open. I just extend the hanging cord over the top of the door, and my indoor decor goes outdoors.

Fall Decor

candles, cocktails, a view ~ indoor, outdoor decor 🙂

Here are all the blogs from this week, in case you missed any of the great decor. Jennifer’s beautiful red door and metallic pumpkins at The Striped House, Lisa’s charming cottage entrance at Concord Cottage,  Angie’s beautiful wreath and urns at The Altered Past, Jenn’s cozy cottage porch at 2 Bee’s in a Pod, and Coco’s lovely wicker seating and seasonal color at The Crowned Goat. Did I mention I have porch envy 🙂 .

It has been great sharing all our different styles with you this month on our fall tour. As a spring/summer gal, the fall season usually gets the short shift at my place. Doing the fall tour helped me to enjoy more of the season and has given me a big leg up on my holiday decor. You know I like to transition with as little fuss as possible. The wreaths are here to stay ’til the new year, with a quick holiday update. Here’s a peek ~~~

Fall Decor

my holiday decor is going to be an easy change up!

Hmmm ~ did someone say Holiday Tour? We’ll just have to wait and see! Now let’s enjoy the rest of the fall season ~ thanks y’all!

Bobbi! Your condo and views are stunning. I love your creativity with space. Your front door decor is highly impactful, although that Clemson flag needs to disappear LOL. The foliage container on your front door is beautiful. We’ve so enjoyed getting to know you through this Fall tour! Happy Fall Y’all !!

Bobbi, I am totally jealous over those amazing wreaths! You are so creative and I love the look of your richly appointed spaces. If you ever feel porch envy again feel free to think of me pulling weeds and trimming hedges while you stroll along your beautiful property 🙂 It’s been amazing to work with you on this tour. Sending you hugs, CoCo

Hi Coco ~ you are too funny girl! Loved working with you too! I bet you look cute even pulling weeds 🙂 Next time you’re in ATL I will trade you some pool time for future porch time 🙂 Hugs, Bwg ~~~

    Bobbi,
I love your front door and entry and that’s where I would want to live when I retire. It’s beautiful and like Coco said, no upkeep at all, just grab your towel or coffee (or wine) and go enjoy the pool or beautiful scenery. I love the wall statement and old keys in your entry too. So pretty and a great message and the wreaths are beautiful. LOVE!! xo Lisa

Lisa, you are so sweet! Yes, I have been known to walk the dog with a glass of wine in hand, so we could each enjoy the scenery in our own way 🙂 I think about enjoying the pool and grounds, and not having to do yard work, each month when I send the HOA payment. That and another glass of wine takes away the pocketbook pain! Hugs, Bwg ~~~

Porch envy?? I have pool, brook, balcony, and view envy!! It all looks beautiful and you did a great job! I love your message and vintage keys hanging inside your front door.

And, I just have to add GO BIG ORANGE!! 🙂

Hey Angie ~ if I could just figure out how to hang a porch with some rockers outside my french doors it would be perfect!! Thanks for your support, and we both love ORANGE 🙂 Bwg ~~~
