Cranberry Royale! Not shaken or stirred, but simply divine ~~~
It’s a Thanksgiving surprise :-).
A four pack of Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream, in fabulous seasonal flavors, special delivery from Bluwaterguy. Now that is my kind of surprise! Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday…family, food, football…and even better with my favorite gourmet ice cream.
The package included Jeni’s cranberry royale sorbet. I had been wanting to try this flavor since last year, and it was so worth the wait. The unmistakable sweet and tart cranberry taste that begins with an intense burst of flavor and then melts into the divine silkiness of really good sorbet.
This sorbet and prosecco combo is suggested in Jeni’s book, and I am a push-over for anything with bubbly wine. I could not help but think of Bond and CASINO ROYALE, so martini glasses were de rigueur, and inspired the CinemaScope style photos. I think I could have slurped down the entire pint and bottle on my own, but fortunately Bluwatermom was there to save me from myself. Could be the easiest holiday drink ever. or the perfect light dessert after a big meal. Sooooo good!
